Mr. Berry Goes Black

Excited to create a few cocktail recipes for El Silencio Mezcal. The first one is a take on one of my all-time favorites Ready Fire Aim from Employee Only NYC. Instead of using pineapple, I used blackberry with the addition of bay leaf, a play on the overall film noir theme of El Silencio.

Recipe

1.75 oz El Silencio Espadin Mezcal
1 oz Blackberry Bay Leaf syrup
5 blackberries to muddle
0.5 oz lime juice
2 dashes Pink Peppercorn bitters

Instruction: Muddle blackberry, a short shake and pour into glass. Top with more ice. Garnish with bay leaf and blackberry.
